Proclamation of Property Tax
His Royal Highness, King Declan I, Sovereign of The Kingdom of Tycho, by the powers invested in him by the people of The Kingdom of Tycho, proclaims on this the 1st Day of the Month of May in the Year 2002, a tax of T$ 2 (Two Tycho Kingdom Dollars) per year, or part thereof, per Km2(square kilometre), or part thereof, on all persons owning lands within the territory of The Kingdom of Tycho. This Tax must be paid by the owner in each calendar year that the lands are owned.
All persons holding a Title bestowed by The King are exempt from this Tax.
The penalty for not paying this tax will be a minimum of twice the amount of tax due, up to a maximum of confiscation of the lands upon which tax has not been paid.
The King may, from time to time, review this tax and alter it as he sees fit.
