Proclamation of Stamp Duty on Land Sale
His Royal Highness, King Declan I, Sovereign of The Kingdom of Tycho, by the powers invested in him by the people of The Kingdom of Tycho, proclaims on this the 1st Day of the Month of December in the Year 2002 that a stamp duty of 1% (one percent) of the purchase price shall be levied on all sales of property within The Kingdom of Tycho.
This Stamp Duty shall be payable by the purchaser of the property.
No legal transfer of property can be registered until this Stamp Duty is paid.
All persons holding a Title bestowed by The King are exempt from paying this Stamp Duty.
