The Kingdon of Tycho

His Royal Highness, King Declan I, Sovereign of The Kingdom of Tycho, by the powers invested in him by the people of The Kingdom of Tycho, proclaims on this the 10^th Day of the Month of April in the Year 2001 the formation of the Central Bank of the Kingdom of Tycho and the National Currency of The Kingdom of Tycho.
The National Currency of The Kingdom of Tycho is called the Dollar, or Tycho Kingdom Dollar.

The Central Bank of the Kingdom of Tycho is administered by a Governor, who is appointed directly by the Sovereign. The Governor is responsible for the efficient running of the Central Bank, insuring its integrity, good name and honesty and for ensuring the Central Bank fulfills its duties under this proclamation. The Governor may constitute the Central Bank as they see fit in order to perform the duties of the bank.

The duties of the Central Bank of The Kingdom of Tycho are:

• Maintaining price stability, low and stable inflation, and to foster liquidity, solvency and the proper functioning of a stable market-based financial system.
  
• To formulate and execute monetary policy in consultation with the Sovereign.
  
• Assist the Sovereigns’s financial operations and serve as banker to the Sovereign.
  
• To supervise and regulate and to provide necessary infrastructure to all financial institutions operating within The Kingdom of Tycho.
  
• The issuing of the Dollar, the design of notes and coins, the maintenance of confidence in the Dollar.
