His Royal Highness, King Declan I, Sovereign of The Kingdom of Tycho, by the powers invested in him by the people of The Kingdom of Tycho, proclaims on this the 2nd Day of the Month of April in the Year 2001 that the flag of The Kingdom of Tycho consists of a dark, navy blue background, with a dark green circle in the upper left corner (on the side nearest the flagpole when flown as a flag), within which is a small bright green square located slightly left of centre and five sixths of the way down the circle. When flown as a physical flag the reverse of the flag has the same navy blue background, with dark green circle in the upper right corner (on the side nearest the flagpole) and the small bright green square located within the circle as on the front of the flag.
The navy background represents space. The dark green circle represents the Earth’s moon. The bright green square represents the approximate location of the Kingdom of Tycho on the moon as viewed from the Earth’s northern hemisphere.
This flag can also be rendered in monochrome within media that do not support the use of colour, with the background in black, the circle in grey and the small square in white.
